Das ist doch eine gute Gelegenheit mal auszuprobieren, wie WordPress 2.1 nun (nativ) mit Videoposts umgeht… Update: Klappt, gefällt mir aber doch nicht.

Also zunächst hätten wir da die grossartige George Double-Oh Bush Version von Sunday, Bloody Sunday:

Ed, Du kannst Deinen Preis behalten. Ich weiss — ihr beteuert immer wieder, dass “Person of the Year” nicht unbedingt eine Auszeichnung ist.

Bei Adolf Hitler (*1) und Joseph Stalin ist das einleuchtend, aber ich schätze George Double-Oh Bush wird das schon anders sehen.

Ich find’s trotzdem gut, dass er auch mal POTY war. Stellt euch vor jemand kommt auf Idee, Kinder darüber einen Aufsatz schreiben zu lassen:

“Die Zeitung macht jedes Jahr einen anderen Mann auf die Zeitung. Manchmal sind es auch nur Sachen. Oder Frauen. Aber die sind immer bekannt oder berühmt. Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin und George W. Bush waren schonmal auf der Zeitung.”

Das ist doch toll. Und gibt nichtmal Punktabzug.

Oh well … it’s been a year of google bombing now but as this obviously continues to bring joy and happiness to the civilized world I thought I might as well have the links here, too.

The only remaining issue is: google results on failure (or miserable failure for what it’s worth) will still point to the president’s webpage even after George Double-Oh is gone … then again, the next president will inherit quite some problems worse than this, no?
